Rovers Home Run Ends At 4

Despite a bright start until the conceded goal, Rovers fell to Leeds United at Ewood Park today by the score of 1-2.
March 12, 2016

Manager Paul Lambert said he couldn't fault the teams effort, and lamented on the toll the heavy fixture list has had, which sees Rovers playing 11 games this month. Talking to BBC Radio Lancashire in his post match commentary, he says that while he was disappointed to have conceded from a set piece for Leeds first goal, on balance he was happy with what he saw.

No rest for the weary though, as the team is back in action again in 3 days time, taking on an Ipswich Town side that also lost today by a goal, away to Cardiff City 1-0. Kick-off at Portman Road is on Tuesday, 7:45pm.
